Overnight: Delhi

After breakfast, begin your privately guided exploration of India’s capital.

Visit Jama Masjid before continuing through the energetic lanes of Chandni Chowk by cycle rickshaw. Pass historic markets, traditional businesses, places of worship and residential neighborhoods that reveal the many communities of Old Delhi.

Continue to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

Later, explore New Delhi’s broad avenues and government district, passing India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s Estate. Complete the day with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar complex.

Overnight: Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi Airport for your scheduled flight to Indore.

Meet your local representative on arrival and transfer privately to the hotel.

Depending on the flight schedule, begin with an introduction to Indore’s historic center. Possible visits include Rajwada Palace, selected temples or traditional market areas. The sightseeing program will be adapted to your arrival time and energy level.

Overnight: Indore

After breakfast, travel privately to Maheshwar, a historic town beside the Narmada River.

Maheshwar is closely associated with Queen Ahilyabai Holkar, whose reign transformed it into an important center of administration, religious patronage and textile production.

Explore Ahilya Fort, selected temples and the riverside ghats with your guide. Later, visit a responsible weaving workshop to learn how artisans produce the town’s distinctive Maheshwari textiles.

During the late afternoon, enjoy time beside the Narmada River as boats, pilgrims and local residents gather along the waterfront.

Overnight: Maheshwar

Depart Maheshwar after breakfast and travel to Omkareshwar, one of India’s important Shiva pilgrimage destinations.

Situated around an island in the Narmada River, Omkareshwar attracts pilgrims from across the country. Explore the permitted temple areas, ghats and surrounding lanes with your guide.

This is a living religious destination rather than a staged tourist attraction. Visitors should expect crowds, basic public facilities and an atmosphere shaped primarily by pilgrimage.

Continue through the Malwa region to Mandu. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

Overnight: Mandu

Spend the day exploring Mandu’s extensive archaeological landscape at a comfortable pace.

Begin in the Royal Enclave, visiting Jahaz Mahal and Hindola Mahal. Continue to Jami Masjid and the marble tomb of Hoshang Shah, one of Mandu’s most important examples of Afghan architecture.

Later, visit Baz Bahadur’s Palace and Roopmati’s Pavilion, dramatically positioned above the surrounding countryside and associated with one of Central India’s best-known romantic legends.

The sightseeing order will be adjusted according to weather, walking ability and local conditions.

Overnight: Mandu

After an early breakfast, leave Mandu and travel toward Ujjain.

Ujjain is one of Hinduism’s important sacred cities and periodically hosts the Kumbh Mela. Visit selected religious and cultural sites with your guide while respecting local practices and access restrictions.

Continue to Bhopal after the visit. This is a substantial road day, but appropriate comfort stops will be included.

Check in at your hotel on arrival and enjoy the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, travel to Sanchi, one of India’s most important Buddhist archaeological sites.

Explore the Great Stupa, ceremonial gateways, monasteries and associated monuments while learning about Emperor Ashoka, Buddhist symbolism and the site’s development over several centuries.

Continue to the Udayagiri Caves, where Gupta-period rock-cut monuments, inscriptions and sculptures provide insight into the early development of Hindu iconography.

Return to Bhopal in the evening.

Overnight: Bhopal

Today, travel south of Bhopal to visit two very different archaeological sites.

Begin at the UNESCO-listed Bhimbetka Rock Shelters. The natural rock formations preserve paintings and evidence from multiple periods of human settlement. Explore the publicly accessible shelters with your guide.

Continue to Bhojpur, home to an enormous unfinished Shiva temple and monumental stone lingam. The partially completed structure offers an unusual view of historic temple-building techniques.

Return to Bhopal and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Overnight: Bhopal

After breakfast, leave Bhopal and travel through changing rural and forest landscapes toward Pachmarhi.

Located in the Satpura Hills, Pachmarhi has long been known for its forested surroundings, viewpoints, waterfalls and historic associations.

Check in at your hotel on arrival. Depending on travel time and local conditions, enjoy a gentle walk or viewpoint during the late afternoon.

Overnight: Pachmarhi

Spend the day discovering Pachmarhi’s natural and cultural surroundings.

The program may include selected viewpoints, forest walks, waterfalls, caves or historic sites according to weather, road access and your physical ability.

Some locations require locally authorized vehicles and involve uneven walking surfaces or steps. Your guide will adapt the day to seasonal conditions rather than attempting to include every attraction.

Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

Overnight: Pachmarhi

After an early breakfast, travel to Kanha National Park.

This is a long road journey through an area that sees comparatively limited international tourism. Road surfaces and journey times may vary, and comfort stops will be included where suitable facilities are available.

Arrive at your wildlife lodge and enjoy time to rest. No afternoon safari is promised today because the arrival time cannot be guaranteed reliably.

Attend a safari briefing and prepare for the following day’s wildlife activities.

Overnight: Kanha

Rise early and travel to the park entrance for your morning jeep safari.

Kanha’s forests, open meadows and water sources support tigers, leopards, wild dogs, sloth bears, gaur, deer, langurs and diverse birdlife. The reserve is also particularly associated with the hard-ground barasingha.

Return to the lodge for breakfast, rest and lunch.

Later, take a second jeep safari in a different part of the reserve when permit allocation allows. Every safari is a natural experience, and no particular animal sighting can be guaranteed.

Overnight: Kanha

After breakfast, leave Kanha and travel to Bandhavgarh National Park.

The road journey passes through rural and forested areas where services can be limited. Appropriate comfort stops will be made when suitable facilities are available.

On arrival, check in at your wildlife lodge and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. No safari is scheduled after the transfer.

Overnight: Bandhavgarh

Depart before sunrise for a morning jeep safari in Bandhavgarh.

The reserve is known for its forested hills, grasslands, historic remains and important tiger habitat. Other wildlife may include leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, gaur, deer, jackals and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge for breakfast, lunch and time to rest.

In the afternoon, take a second jeep safari. Safari zones are allocated by the forest authorities and cannot always be selected or guaranteed.

Overnight: Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, travel privately to Khajuraho.

This is another substantial road journey through the interior of Madhya Pradesh. Journey times depend on traffic, road repairs and local conditions.

Arrive in Khajuraho and check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest.

An evening cultural performance or sound-and-light presentation may be arranged when operating.

Overnight: Khajuraho

After breakfast, explore Khajuraho’s UNESCO-listed temples with a knowledgeable local guide.

Begin with the Western Group, including monuments such as Kandariya Mahadeva, Lakshmana and Vishvanatha. Learn about their architecture, spiritual symbolism and detailed depictions of deities, musicians, warriors and everyday life.

Your guide will place the well-known sensual sculptures within the much wider philosophical, religious and artistic context of the temple complex.

Later, visit selected temples in the Eastern Group, associated with Jain and Hindu traditions. The remainder of the day can be adapted for photography, local crafts or relaxation.

Overnight: Khajuraho

Leave Khajuraho after an early breakfast and drive to Orchha.

Visit the principal palace and temple complex, including Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and selected riverside monuments according to timing and local conditions.

Continue to Jhansi Railway Station and board a suitable afternoon or early-evening train to Agra. Reserved seating will be arranged in an air-conditioned class.

On arrival, meet your representative and transfer privately to the hotel.

The exact sightseeing and transfer timings will be finalized around the confirmed train schedule.

Overnight: Agra

Rise early for a privately guided visit to the Taj Mahal. The softer morning light and cooler temperature provide a memorable introduction to this extraordinary monument.

Learn about its architecture, craftsmanship and historical context before returning to the hotel for breakfast.

Later, explore Agra Fort, the imperial complex where generations of Mughal emperors lived and governed.

The remainder of the afternoon is flexible. You may relax at the hotel or request an optional visit to Mehtab Bagh, Itmad-ud-Daulah or a responsible marble-inlay workshop.

The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. The sightseeing sequence will be adjusted when necessary.

Overnight: Agra

After breakfast, leave Agra and travel privately to Delhi.

Check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. This protected final night prevents the international departure from depending on a same-day road transfer from Agra.

Depending on your interests, an optional market visit, farewell dinner or additional Delhi experience can be arranged.

Overnight: Delhi

After breakfast, transfer privately to Delhi International Airport according to your flight schedule.

Your departure time will be planned around airline check-in requirements and expected traffic conditions.
