After visiting Raj Ghat, continue into New Delhi for lunch and guided visits to Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar complex. Conclude with India Gate, Kartavya Path and exterior views of Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, subject to traffic and security restrictions.

Know before you go

Important Information

Delhi is a large and busy city. The sightseeing order may change according to traffic, monument schedules, prayer times, weekly closures, official events and security restrictions.

Jama Masjid Access

Jama Masjid is an active place of worship. Tourist access can be restricted during prayers, particularly around Friday congregational prayer, religious festivals and special observances.

Respectful Clothing

Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting Jama Masjid. Shoes must be removed. Suitable covering garments may be required or provided according to the mosque’s current rules.

Walking and Mobility

The tour includes walking, monument steps, uneven surfaces and crowded market lanes. Tell us about mobility limitations so the route and pace can be adapted before confirmation.

Rickshaw Experience

The cycle-rickshaw ride operates through busy public streets. The route depends on crowds, police restrictions and road access. Guests uncomfortable with the ride may request a modified program.

Delhi Traffic

Traffic can significantly affect the schedule. The guide may change the sightseeing order or shorten a stop to preserve the most important visits. A specific finishing time cannot be guaranteed.

Government Buildings

Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan are exterior drive-by attractions unless a separate official visit has been reserved. Roads and stopping areas can close without advance notice.

Monument Closures

Maintenance, official events, religious observances or security instructions may close a monument temporarily. When practical, the guide will substitute another suitable attraction.

Weather and Air Quality

Summers can be extremely hot, the monsoon can bring heavy rain and winter may include fog or poor air quality. Carry appropriate protection and discuss health concerns before booking.

Photography

Photography is generally possible at the main monuments, but restrictions apply inside religious buildings and sensitive government areas. Always follow instructions from the guide and security personnel.

Lunch and Dietary Needs

Vegetarian meals are readily available. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy-related requests should be communicated in advance, although completely allergen-free preparation cannot always be guaranteed.

Optional Shopping

Shopping is not compulsory. If you would like to visit a textile, handicraft, spice or artisan market, tell us in advance so it can be added without compromising the principal monuments.

Airport Arrivals

Do not plan the complete tour immediately after a late flight arrival. Immigration, baggage collection and airport traffic can reduce the available sightseeing time.

Flexible planning: Delhi cannot be experienced through a rigid checklist. Your guide will protect the principal visits while adapting the route to real-time traffic, access and local conditions.
