Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be welcomed by your More India Travels representative and transferred to your luxury hotel.

After your long international flight, the rest of the day is intentionally left free to relax, recover from jet lag, and prepare your camera equipment.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a photography briefing covering the journey ahead, lighting conditions, and practical tips for photographing India.

DAY 2

Old Delhi – Street Photography

Early Morning

Old Delhi wakes before sunrise, making it one of India's most fascinating places for documentary and street photography.

Breakfast at a restored heritage haveli.

Later visit:

DAY 3

Delhi → Agra

Driving time: Approximately 3.5–4 hours via expressway

Depart after breakfast for Agra using the Yamuna Expressway. The journey is smooth and comfortable, with a stop for refreshments along the way.

After checking into your luxury hotel, visit Agra Fort in the late afternoon when the softer light enhances the red sandstone architecture.

End the day at Mehtab Bagh, where you'll photograph the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River during sunset.

DAY 4

Taj Mahal Sunrise → Ranthambore

Driving time: Approximately 5 hours

Start before dawn to experience the Taj Mahal in the magical morning light. Arriving early means fewer visitors and the best photographic conditions.

Return to the hotel for breakfast before departing for Ranthambore National Park. The drive is broken with a lunch stop and scenic countryside views.

After arrival, settle into your luxury jungle lodge and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 5

Tiger Photography

Morning safari.

Return for breakfast.

Relax by the pool or review photographs.

Afternoon safari.

DAY 6

Ranthambore → Jaipur

Driving time: Approximately 3 hours

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before driving to Jaipur.

Check into your luxury palace hotel.

In the late afternoon, photograph the colorful bazaars, local artisans, and the illuminated façade of Hawa Mahal.

Jaipur → Jodhpur

Domestic Flight (Recommended)

Rather than spending six hours on the road, fly from Jaipur to Jodhpur (subject to schedules).

After arrival:

DAY 9

Bishnoi Villages

Portrait photography.

Traditional potters.

DAY 10

Jodhpur → Udaipur

Driving time: Approximately 5 hours

Travel through the Aravalli Hills with visits to the beautifully carved Jain temples at Ranakpur and the historic Kumbhalgarh Fort (optional, depending on pace).

Enjoy lunch en route and continue to Udaipur, arriving by early evening.

DAY 11

Udaipur
